About The Park
Kulture Skateboard Park opened in Sanjo City, Niigata Prefecture, in December 2022. It’s an indoor skatepark founded by Koji Otake, a former professional skateboarder affiliated with the Japan Skateboarding Association (AJSA). He also serves as a school instructor at the park.
As a fully air-conditioned, all-weather skatepark, it offers a comfortable space to skate year-round. The park’s exterior walls are made from recycled materials, reflecting an environmental commitment.
The park, which spans approximately 400 square meters, features a smooth, concrete surface for optimal skating. The course has various DIY wooden sections and standard obstacles, making it suitable for beginners and intermediate skaters.
One of the park’s highlights is its diverse skateboarding school programs, catering to skaters of all ages and skill levels. The park also has a viewing area overlooking the skating area, providing a comfortable space for spectators.
To ensure the long-term enjoyment of this new park, all users are encouraged to be considerate of their neighbors by avoiding disruptive skating behaviors and street parking.
