About The Park

Located just a 5-minute walk from JR Kuriyama Station in Kuriyama Town, Yubari District, is a public skate park that was completed in 2022.

The park features approximately 600 square meters of smooth concrete surface, along with several wooden sections. The vibrant blue painted surface is incredibly smooth and offers excellent glide.

The sections are larger in size, providing a challenging experience for skilled riders, but they also include standard features, making them accessible to all.

The park also has a spacious flat area, perfect for beginners to practice, making it suitable for riders of all skill levels.

The park is open from late April to early November, from morning until 8 PM (6 PM for elementary and junior high school students). While there is no fee to use the park, visitors are required to fill out a registration form before using the facilities.

Permitted equipment includes skateboards, BMX bikes (with only plastic bar ends, pedals, and pegs), inline skates, and kick scooters.

The surrounding area of the park is currently an open field, offering a clear view. While the open space makes for a pleasant skating experience, there is no shade, so it can get quite hot during the summer.

The opening of this park, where skaters and BMX riders can enjoy themselves without hesitation, has been met with great enthusiasm from the local community.

To ensure the park’s continued existence, let’s all work together to follow the rules.
