たちかわ中央公園 スケートパーク

About The Park

Tachikawa Skatepark is a public skatepark you can skate for free in Tokyo! Since we’re having Street League Skateboarding in Tokyo, we’re expecting a lot of skaters coming to Tokyo and I’d recommend this park to them. The park is 10 minutes away from Tachikawa station and is under the bridge so you can skate even when it’s raining. The park is not that big but since it’s in a great location, it gets busy, especially on weekends. It has 560㎡ ground and street-style sections.

You need to register beforehand at the gym office which is 20 mins away from there. But, once you register you can use this for free. Even though a lot of parks in Tokyo don’t allow skateboarding, you can skate freely here. But lately, it’s been a problem that people skate outside of the park. So please respect the rules here to keep the park open.

About The Sections

The park is street-style and has a couple of ledges, bank walls, and rails. The sizes of sections are small so even beginners can try tricks on them. It’s a small park so be careful when you skate here.
