About The Park
Genki Field Sendai Skatepark is the biggest skatepark in Sendai, Miyagi, and opened in 2007. There are two areas in this skatepark, “the flat area” and “the park area”. It has about 1000㎡ big ground and some big sections for upper-level skaters. All the sections are concrete, and the park is usable for skate contests.
The layout of the park is unique and there are some sections that would be hard for even upper-level skaters. The park is like the park in long beach California so once you get the speed, you can just keep going.
There is a flat area for beginner skaters so if you are a beginner you can still enjoy skating here.
Also, when you skate here, you are supposed to wear a helmet even in the flat area. And you need to register beforehand to use this park and to get a wristband to skate there.

About The Sections
All the sections are park-style in this park. Since this park is surrounded by a quarter-pipe, you don’t have to push. Also, there’s an 8-shape bowl.
