About The Park
This is the city’s first public skate park, located near Hinasen Undō Kōen (Hinasen Athletic Park) in Bizen City, Okayama Prefecture. It was completed in June 2023.
The park covers an area of approximately 500 square meters and is equipped with about six state-of-the-art sections. While it’s considered a medium-sized park, its newly constructed, clean concrete surface and high-quality, user-friendly sections make it a delightful place to skate.
With a simple layout consisting of standard sections, the park is suitable for skaters of all levels, from beginners to experts.
Located in a natural setting with stunning ocean and mountain views, the park offers a relaxing atmosphere and plenty of space to enjoy.
The park is open daily from 9 AM to sunset and is free to use. While there’s no need for reservations or sign-ups, visitors are required to scan a QR code at the entrance using their smartphone to complete an online registration.
This Hinasen Skate Park is the first new skate park to be built in the prefecture in quite some time and has been eagerly anticipated by local skaters.
An opening ceremony attended by city officials featured a ribbon-cutting and demonstrations, drawing a large crowd and creating an immediate buzz.
With its excellent location, the park is expected to attract visitors not only from within the city but also from neighboring areas like Hyogo Prefecture.
To promote understanding of skateboarding among government officials and the general public, and to encourage the construction of more public parks, let’s all use the park responsibly and follow the rules.
