About The Park
Fukuikenkonomori Skate Park is the biggest skatepark in Fukui and opened in 2019. The park is the biggest “plaza-style” skatepark in Japan. It has 3000㎡ ground and is popular with skaters all over Japan.
The main point of this park is the “plaza-style” which is made like an actual street. The sections are like the objects you see in the actual streets and cities. When you skate here, you feel like you’re skating in real streets. They have areas for all levels of skaters so everyone can enjoy skating here no matter how good you are.
It is open every day except for Mondays and the price is not that high. When you use this park for the first time, you’re supposed to register at the office which is 7 mins away from the park. But, I think a lot of people skate without it so I’ll leave it up to you whether you do it or not.

About The Sections
The park has a “local area” and a “contest area”. The “local area” has plaza-style sections like brick walls, benches, curves, and stairs with steps. In the “contest area”, you’ll see popular sections like quarter-pipe and so on. I’d say this park is the most enjoyable skatepark in Japan so I strongly recommend this one to you.
