About The Park
Musaski Park Skatepark is a newly opened indoor and outdoor skatepark operated by Murasakisports, located near the Rara port shopping mall in Tachikawa, Tokyo. It opened in July 2023 and is the successor to the former Musashi Park Tokyo in Adachi Ward, which has been relocated and renewed.
With a total area of approximately 2,000 square meters, including an indoor area of approximately 1,700 square meters and an outdoor area of approximately 300 square meters, it is one of the largest indoor and outdoor skateparks in the Kanto region.
The park features a variety of sections, from competition-spec street and park-style courses designed under the supervision of experts, to a 14-foot large vertical ramp used in world competitions, providing high quality facilities for competitions.
In addition, there is a flat space and mini section outdoors, so not only advanced skaters but also beginners and intermediate skaters can enjoy themselves.
The park is made of a durable concrete base, which makes it less susceptible to deterioration and allows for consistent skating conditions. The main indoor area is also air-conditioned and all-weather, so you can skate comfortably all year round.
The park also features a large skateshop, where you can purchase skateboards, BMXs, and other related items. You can also rent equipment, so even if you are a beginner, you can come and try it out without any worries.
At the pre-opening reception party, top Japanese skaters, including Olympic medalists, were invited to perform a spectacular and powerful demonstration, which greatly excited the audience.
Skateboarding is now a leading sport in the world, and this park, which can be considered a new hub in the Kanto region, is expected to nurture future athletes who will compete on the world stage and further raise the level of Japanese skateboarding, as well as spread the greatness of X-sports to many people.

About The Sections
The indoor area is designed in a street style, consisting of sections such as banks, ledges, rails, and stairs.
The parkside features stage banks and curves that allow skaters to accelerate, and the layout is designed for competitions and contests, allowing skaters to use all the sections in the park in a single flow.
The section sizes are not too large, so even beginners and intermediate skaters can try them out.
The outdoor area consists of an easy-to-skate area with a flat base and small sections and ramps, as well as a massive 14-foot vertical ramp.
The entire surface is made of smooth concrete, which allows for comfortable skating without getting tired even after a long time.
